  • Fantastic Bass Amp!

I love this amp sim! I use it for everything from country to rock and pop punk! It's the only bass amp sim I use.
I really like that it's simple to use, but still sounds really good and sits in a mix easily. The power soak feature is magic!

Awesome sound! perfect recreation of the original sound, if you have a good audio interface or preamp and combine it with this, sounds glory.

    Cool Sound !!
  • Classic sound - Not just great for bass

    ★★★★☆
    by Robert S.
    Pros:
Not just great for bass only! Playing some chords on the guitar with the primary preset - volume, treble and input gain at full power - , plus giving some extra reverb reminds me a lot of the iconic guitar riff of Yes - "Owner of a Lonely Heart".
In fact, the sound is very classic and while you can tweak it to be heavy distorted it still sounds pleasant due the fact that there not cramping around any annoying artifacts or resonants in the high frequencies.
    Cons:
    - I am missing (although not provided in the original hardware) a Dry/Wet knob to sooth out between and the dry and wet signal. (This is a problem with PA plugins in general, I wish they had incorporated a dry/wet parameter in the PA tool bars) - And yes, the volume knob could be used a little as alternative but whether that works or not highly depends on the settings you use, so no reliable workaround.
    - Presets are provided, but only accessible via the DAW, not inside of the plugin. Why?
    - For the price tag, there sould be more than just 3 cabinet available. Even tough, it's a shrinked down version of Ampeg Classic for 50 bucks more.
