    Wow! Brainworx has done it again. They have made a plugin with real depth and clarity, something that is often missing in plugins. That’s why I own most of their plugins. And this baby has character and lot’s of headroom to make anything jump out of a mix. Also it’s very musical sounding, thank’s to Rupert Neve’s design and the Brainworx emulation.

    I own pretty much all the most coveted EQ emulations by UA, Waves and Softube (including a couple different Neves) but this 2098 is just so much easier to get a great sound out of. Master buss, drum buss, kick, guitar, whatever - I just drop this in, turn some knobs and there it is. The sound I was trying to get to when I reached for an EQ in the first place. This thing is just so smooth and round and warm that I just keep ending up using this instead those others. Really, start here - before you drop big dollars on several other (more expensive) EQ plugins. You’re welcome.

    I've used bx_V3 digital for mastering for a couple of years. Never thought it could be better. I was wrong. bx_2098 EQ is the new spacerocket in mastering. Organic, precise and musical.

    Very impressive eq. I felt it was easy to dial in a nice, musical sound. I like what it brings out of my low-mids in my electric guitars. That being said, it is a versatile eq and I recommend using it on everything.
