Work flawlessly on Linux
★★★★★Can be run without any issues on Linux (tested on Fedora 40), via KXStudio Carla bridge (need to build both Carla and Wine latest commit from source because Flatpak installation may not work). -
I throw this on every track in my DAW
★★★★★Like I said I throw this thing on every track in my songs & randomize the channels, it sounds so good. I love the EQ section on this console. Sounds fantastic no matter what I'm EQing. THD is awesome for adding a little dirt. I usually use the compressor section as a limiter but the compressor sounds great on drums. I have this & the SSL 9000 J (which is incredible) but I find myself reaching for this one more often. There's so much to love about this console, it just covers so much ground & covers it well. -

FOCUSRITEはハードウェアのマイクプリアンプも使っていますがbx_consoleも手放せないです。
個人的な意見だけどイコライザーセクションは低域には弱い気がする。というよりも洗練され過ぎてるからか良くも悪くも繊細な雰囲気だから低域を持ち上げても汚くなりにくい？
ブースト気味にベースやキックの圧力を出したい場合は違うチャンネルストリップか単品のイコライザーに頼ります。
あくまでも個人の感想で他のプラグインの影響もあるはずだから定かではない。
それを踏まえてボーカルやスネアやシンセサイザーなどに使っています。
FOCUSRITEのマイクプリアンプは神。無性にパスタが食べたい。 -
Great sound but not for the faint of heart
★★★★☆Generally speaking the presets always enhance whatever sound I'm putting through them, but it is a bit of the deep end as far as trying to figure out how to make your own patches. -

Lovely EQ
★★★★★Before I got this, I thought, EQs are EQs. They’re all really pretty much the same. (Yes, I was an amateur.)
Then I got this guy. These filters are amazing . I especially love the two low bands. Just so beautiful. It doesn’t feel like I’m EQing; it just feels like the sounds get better. I’ve found myself pushing the knobs all the way up without realizing it as a result. -
Absolutely Beautiful

Really Freakin' Good
★★★★★I've never been a huge fan of channel strips until I discovered BX's lineup with the THD knob and selectable TMT, which are incredible features. I really like this particular strip for its clean and clear sound, it's become my go-to for pop vocals. Parameter-wise it's more flexible than most console-modeled channel strips: variable attack and a dry/wet knob on the compressor, sidechain filter section, variable Q and sweepable frequency on the EQ mid bands, and a de-esser that's surprisingly good.
