    Life just got a whole lot simpler. Insert on every track, and mix. The original sounded great. Now it sounds even better, but works a heck of a lot better. THD and automatic channel selection are just brilliant. The complete plugin.

    I bought the original version when it first came out. The upgrade adds both random and saturation features. I now tend to use the "E" Console because it's more intuitive and faster to use. If you like that Neve character, this is the one to buy. The EQ on this unit is extremely good. You just have to train yourself to turn the knobs backwards for it to work.

    I have been using the original bx_console for a long time and it's my favourite channel strip - the right kind of noise, tollerance modelling... and I really like the big knobs, this thing just looks great and sounds even better. I think the N-upgrade made it my all-time go-to plugin for every mixdown.

    EQ and compressor are lovely!
    Even just adding an instance without any effects activated can tighten the sound, or add a bit of stereo image magic.
    CPU tax is very low too, I'm using 12+ channels in my live set, no problems.

    This plugin is just incredible. The sound is smooth as butter and the CPU hit is so low! It makes mixes come to life so easily and having everything right there means I am doing less clicking on inserts and more time actually mixing. The THD really warms up drums and the TMT is such a brilliant feature! Well done Brainworx; this thing is a beast!

    Console N gives me that feeling and sound like I how I remember the best of times working with physical consoles. (everything working!) The gate is incredibly useful and easy to dial in, the compressor additions of Parallel Mix % and HPF just add even more useful flexibility to what was already a versatile and very useful compressor. I think for the past few mixes I’ve done, roughly 80% of the basic work of dialing in a mix, setting tones and shape, placing of dynamics and setting levels, this channel strip has been superb. What would have normally been short series of plug-ins to accomplish can all be done with plenty of convenience and with an enhanced character. The extra color from the THD and Vmix is frosting on the cake.
    I know it is extremely difficult to create a true swiss army knife of a plug-in, especially one that proclaims to model a serious console but I am duly impressed here at how they’ve not only modeled the real board, but also expanded on it’s capabilities in non-trivial ways.
