★★★★☆the sound is very good
a lot better than I thought. -
Nice emulation
★★★★★When I demoed bx amp-sims for the first time last year and compared to other sims I rated them well below competitors. Now that I got this product with a good discount I decided to give it another try. I must admit, it grows on me more and more. It lacks reverb and decent chorus would be a nice addition too. Although it's not my go-to amp-sim, I do like its simple and beautiful interface. -
bx_megasingle
★★★★★Плагин достаточно гибкий,как с чистым сигналом,так и с перегруженным. Понравились hi-lo фильтры при обработке DI и post сигнала.Годная штука,рекомендую! -

Rectifier
★★★★★As a long time fan and owner of the original Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier 2 chan. Revision "F" i was trying to find something for a good backup out of the studio. MegaSingle is the first time I've played anything from the Single Rectifier series, but it's very close to the legendary old sound caused by the "Schumacher" transformer, that is missing a lot from all new modern Dual/Triple 3 chan rectifiers. If you are looking to get this legendary sound close to the PRE-500 dual channel Dual Rectos, or just the Single Rectifier MegaSingle is for you. Of course it depends a lot what's your guitar tone chain, what cabinet/speakers/mics/room you are using even if you are with IR's. It's the first time I've managed to get a VST amp emulation that has both High quality, precious sound of the Rectifier beast and a great design that is easy to use. It really hangs well in the full mix even before you manage to polish your final songs with the mixing/mastering in the studio. It was hard to recognize even for a lot of my colleagues that this sound was not from analogue amp. Amazing work from the team of Brainworx and Plugin-Alliance. Overall the sound is around 95% accurate at least to the Dual Rectifier Revision F since I never owned/played analogue version of the Single Rectifier. -
Spacesafer
★★★★★Thanks for including so many good sounding models / responses. It actually can safe a lot of studio space. -
BX Megasingle sounds good, many uses.
★★★★★I use this even on bass and synths. Cab emulation shapes the sound well. Distortion sounds as it should, with a midrange presence and some fuzziness of the old days. Just wish I had a control to remove the emulated noise from the overdriven channel. The included effects enhance the sound. Demo them with the trial. I think it has its own sound that gives body to a DI recorded instrument. -
Megasingle
★★★★★I've been looking for an amp sim that would cover all of the bases (clean, overdriven and crazy dirty) and wouldn't overload the CPU of my ageing Mac (i5 Late 2011) for a while. Years in fact. I tried all of the usual suspects and whilst they sounded good they were all processor-heavy; so much so that I couldn't realistically use them in my projects.
Enter the Megasingle. This thing ticks all of the boxes: sounds great, flexible, and minimal CPU drain; I ran 4 instances of this plugin on 4 individual channels in an existing project to trial the demo version without any glitches or overloads - my performance meter was ticking along nicely at 20% - using EZ drummer, Kontakt Player and Korg's MS20 plugins simultaneously.
Sits great in the mix too. -
deals?
★★★★☆HI.
Just a quick query. Although I am happy with the various plugins I have purchased, why is it that buyers in America seem to get even bigger reductions than their Brit counterparts? By and large, 50%.
Cheers

Mesa, Mesa, Mesa!
★★★★★Do you like Mesa? Do you like Boogie? I do. And this one IS a Mesa like no others, apart his "big brother" mega dual. Which one is the best?
No one. They are different, no overlapping. Personally, I like and need both. Maybe this is a one trip pony, but what a trip it is! 2 channels, so bold and full of vibe. If I had to choose just one of the two mesas from PA, perhaps it would be mega dual for his extreme versatility, but fortunately I do not do it, and thus, make no mistake, I took them both.
