I feel like its underrated.
★★★★★I feel like its underrated since Plugin Alliance is always having this on a steep sale, but its gooooood. I went too far and put it in an entire mix that was missing some low end punch and WOOOOOOW it sound good. Be delicate with the amount knobs since the PA developers allowed it to go to super whazzam amounts of bass, but it sounds good even on full mixes. Recommend, fun to use also 9/10. -

Absolutely astonishing

Orchestral Pit
★★★★★Although unconventional, the subsynth is very useful for adding weight and definition to low-end orchestral instruments so they cut through mix without muddying up the space. It works great on Celli, Contra Bassoon, Cimbasso, and Bass Trombone. Simply solo the instrument track and dial in a small amount of 5-15% on the 56-80 and 36-56 dials to beef up the low end. Use delicate amounts. The while listening to the overall mix bring up the Drive on the Harsh setting till the instrument surfaces in the mix. It is so quick, so easy, and with a musical subtlety that is difficult to achieve with conventional EQs. It's a fantastic little unit! -

Definitively usefull in my electronic music projects. I ever use it on my Kick and Bass, the improvement is terrific!

★★★★★I recently had an EDM mixing project and on the first mix did not have this plugin installed. The artist (of course) requested more subsynth, so I purchased bx_sybsynth to try out. And I'm very impressed. I'm not sure how I have been able to not mix EDM without this product for so long. You can REALLY dial in the lower harmonic content on your tracks with this plugin, and it is capable of creating some fabulous synthesized tones. There is the ability to really have a lot of control over these lower frequencies and exponentially bring out the lower spectrum in a very pleasant and natural sounding way. You can muddy up your tracks easily, but you can just as easily bring clarity and punch to those same tracks with this plugin as well. Really digging this plugin and I can see myself using it on many tracks and songs.
This is a plugin that really everyone should have if they are mixing low frequencies into their tracks. -
Rich and Alive
★★★★★Wish I had this part of my arsenal all these years. Most EQs are only going to fix/curve your bottom end so far. Adding sub harmonics on some of your channels can really richen things up and bring your sounds to life, even if your then filtering out unwanted low end. And with M/S options. . Magic!!! -
