★★★★★I have a kazillion tape emulations. This one is by far the best! Not a lot of tweaking needed to get the sound you want! I first put it on a drum buss and it was magic! Then a bass guitar and real nice! Then on a mix buss and when set right it can offer a nice subtle depth. I understand that the original team that created the hardware unit worked on this code. Very nice! -
A Red Beast!
★★★★★I can see why the hardware is loved: this plug's controls make it fast to dial in and it's killer on vocals and distorted guitars -- even on the master bus! Anyplace you need to twist sour mid-tones into shape and add some clean highs, this plugin is a unique and powerful option; the only quirk is that (in my rig, at least) the sound takes a moment to change over when the bypass button is pressed/released, but a teaspoon of patience is all that's needed there. Great new plugin! -

★★★★★Ok, what the heck is this??! Is this voodoo in a plugin...I mean this plugin sounds like tape! It's sick. The flexibility to dial in sounds is insane, and oh, the "Ultimate" setting, what!?? It's sounds like hardware!!
