    I decided to give what to me was an underdog a shot this time for mastering. I was certainly NOT underwhelmed when I heard it. This is not the typical punchy KICK/SNARE kind of compressor; instead it's more of a smooth, warm, and silky layer of compression laid over the whole track evenly and consistent with all instruments. A mild squeeze on my track instantly made it sound much more finished. I really like this compressor and clearly see why it's been a studio hit for such a long time now.

    The VSC-2 is an amazing unit, it works on most materials like a charm and really helps to get a punchy & opened sound in my opinion. It's on most of my masters.

    i used a trial of this comp quite a while ago, and always longed for it since then. i bought it today, and after 10 seconds i knew i wouldn't ever be disappointed.
    i use it on my mix bus, mainly for tv post stuff, and it glues and levels everything very transparently.
    the soft mode is a real killer.

    it work very well on instrument, so much colour for busses. The result is natural and good, but not impressive. The mono option is a great idea and give good results, it is the best of the plugin. I don´t liked that the colour of the tone/sound is so much for a bus, but it is a increible plugin for pianos, violins and others instruments
