Yo. Ok. So. I was skeptical but this is literally the best $20 I've ever spent on a plugin. (On sale) Even if I only used it for scratch midi bass tracks it's still the best. But I've gotta say. It actually fits perfectly for the style of music I need. Pair this with an Ampeg SVT plugin and maybe a sansamp PSA or something and it's GOLD. Just play around with the settings of the neck and the picking/playing styles. If you're looking for a midi bass at a fraction of the cost of the competitors that sounds awesome for pop punk/hardcore/metal/djent pick this thing up!

Yes, it sounds like a pro bass player with the right amplifier which you can buy here also. I love the sound and are still experimenting, but because of the real sound I use Keemun a lot where I used to use synths before. So in that sense, a real pro bass!

I play my own bass tracks when its rock or similar, but there are plenty of times I need styles I'm not competent to track. With a good midi sequence, Keemun sounds great even to a picky ear no matter the style. Love the fact its D.I. sampling ready to "plug in" to the same stuff I use with a real bass.

Great sounding bass, easy to use, versatile (slap is good!) really shines combined with a good bass amp simulator, for my taste the Ampeg B15N. Make sure you play with a couple of powerful options that will define the sound you´re looking for: Velocity Map & Neck Fretting positions. Oh, and the sustain pedal makes for a nice punch! (customizable to muted notes & more too).
