Great tool to shape sounds! It’s easy to use and gives you a lot of options. I like the variety of filter types and that you can adjust the order and resonance. I use this plug a lot for cleaning single tracks in a mix, but it’s also great for adding some 'oomph' to bass sounds or to make a hihat cut better through a mix. Super versatile tool and it sounds great!

Brainworx bx_cleansweep is a surprisingly useful free plugin that is incredibly simple to use. It's got a high pass and low pass which are simultaneously controlled with a joystick interface. This X/Y filter style is a game changer. I call it the 'Far Away' plugin because it's the best way to gently bring sounds in and out of the mix.

Who gets excited about a filter? No one. WELL YOU SHOULD! Clearing out those unwanted and often imperceptible frequencies on each track will allow bigger, more spacious and better mixes. Don't let this plugin’s simplicity fool you; I practically have it on every track.
