MAN this thing is sick! Gets so chubby and fat, and then I flip the ips switch and it’s the PERFECT top end! Tape Face is the best tape sim. Hand Down!

Tape Face oozes classy, warm, and gooey tape vibes all day long! Love its fast and well-thought-out approach to help get a mix or master just the right amount of harshness taming saturation & gifting it with the right amount of low-end punch!

Want an authentic analog vibe on your mixes? Well, look no further than Tape Face! Kiive Audio’s tape emulation is my new favorite plugin to use on my mastering chain to give mixes that extra beef and excitement before hitting final limiting. Amazing stuff!

Kiive Audio Tape Face sounds incredible! I love how quickly I can dial in exactly the amount and type of "tape vibe" I'm looking for, with some added features and enhancements that instantly lifts the vibe of my mixes. Tape Face delivers cohesion and density. Very useful on just about any source from individual tracks to groups, and of course on the master bus Tape Face is just fantastic. The saturation plus low boost section sounds amazing. For me, having Saturation, Low Boost, and Stereo Widening all together for quick access is brilliant, and allows me to shape and create a sonic vibe very quickly. I'm genuinely excited and inspired by the sound of Tape Face. There are certain tools that hit you instantly with a "yes, that's the sound"... and Tape Face is easily one of those for me.

Tape Face is great on any level of your mix - individual tracks, groups, or on the whole mix! Add Subtle glue to the whole record, punch up your drums or spice up a boring sample. With three flavors of tape and tons of tweakability, Tape Face is an incredibly useful and musical saturation tool.

I love the analog warmth the Tape face provides. I use on my drum and mix bus. It immediately adds glue and punch without much effort. or you can push it and get sweet saturated harmonics.

Kiive Tape Face has a strong “Analog Tape” character. It can give tracks that special warmth and cohesion that are often lacking with digital audio recording. The 3 Tape Types with Bias and Saturation controls provides many palettes to glue tracks together. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t sure if I would need another tape emulation plugin in my arsenal, but I was very surprised when I tried the Kiive Tape Face for the first time. It is able to glue my bus channels in such a natural and transparent way, that just makes sense. With most other tape plugins in comparison it often becomes a challenge to find the sweet spot at which you get the desired glue and texture, before breaking the signal with harsh distortion. I didn’t have any issues like that with the Kiive. Love it!

AWESOME & CPU Friendly.
I first put the Tape Face on my vocal bus and dialed in some warmth and a little bit of grit to give the vocals an authentic feel. The stereo width feature is really clutch to give vocals a little bit of swag in an unconventional way.
For the big test i put it right on the master fader and went to town. Switching the tape to "Style II" and the IPS to 7.5 gave me a sound that was warm and held everything together. The low boost button might be my favorite feature. I see this being very useful in the hip hop I work on.
