The addition of the EQ functions takes this to the next level for me: having the ability to modify each EQ band by 4 different permutations of frequency and bandwidth makes this so flexible it can not only act as a mastering EQ but get even more surgical if needed.

A great upgrade from the magicians at Mäag. Take all the intuitiveness of the original unit, turn it up to 11. The new frequency switches provide extra flexibility without losing the ability to quickly manipulate source material (awesome) while the new soft clip knob and M/S add new creative capabilities... so I'll be using this EVEN MORE.

The Maag EQ4 MS is amazing, I use it for adding a top end sheen to the mix using the air band. It adds some smooth air frequencies to the top end without the harshness, giving a final touch that really opens up a mix. I love the added flexibility of mid/side processing and stereo width control, the mono maker and soft clipper are a great touch too. Will be using on the regular!
