I use the plugin for recording vocals and sound samples with large transients. The basic preset alone is sufficient for almost all sound samples. It really mixes up vocals.

Quickly evolved to one of my go to color boxes, and that's just the preamp. The compression sounds great as well and can be blended with the pure preamp tone. Sounds like a german tube circuit and I really haven't heard something modelling it this well! 10/10

Holy moly, as an engineer recording pro rock & retro based sounding rock n roll . And a huge fan of EMI, Telefunken & all the good stuff. Using mostly Old school analogue mixed with Digital. I have always welcomed having units and equipment that most people couldn’t get their hands on or afford. So I was excited to hear the news the V 76 & added bonus of the U73 . exceptional plugin. This is a must have if you’re serious about old classic analogue gear . Holy grail . Sounds exceptional . I will be looking forward to more plug-ins from the company. I have many great channel strips, but this just adds an instant glow to anything you put through it! The drums preset is my go to! As are the synth ones! It just seems to put things in the right place so mixes knit together nicely without having to do much tweaking. The saturation feels similar to Big Al, so it just makes instruments sound amazing!

"What bit of sorcery is this?", he shouts as the track suddenly pops out of the mix like an exploding firecracker on an infinite loop... "This thing is crazy", he gasps. "How does one tame a beast of this magnitude?!" Then without thinking, he reaches for the mix knob and slowly the firecracker fades and all is again well. Seriously, this thing has to be possessed because it just makes everything sound so damn good... thank you for the killer plug, gotta get back to taming this beast.
