Indie Rock: Banging Tunes And Dirty Dancefloors

Indie Rock is a unique loop pack for Indie, Brit Pop or Rock as well as other surrounding genres. Each of the 18 Construction Kits delivers a well composed track (including an A and B part, break and intro & outro), professionally recorded drum sets, bass lines, guitar takes and synths. Indie Rock serves as a perfect band in a box for inspiring ideas. Exceptional for song layouts, movie scoring, jingles & advertisements, creative media ventures and countless other musical applications.

Content

A closer look into the 3.8 GB package reveals more than 1500 loops and samples of supremely engineered and recorded instruments. The drum set was pedantically mic‘d and is available in different single tracks: bass drum, snare top, snare bottom, high-hat, ride, tom, overhead and room. Thanks to the different parts and variations it is possible to create completely new drum arrangements within seconds. You can of course easily combine the snare line from one track with a bass drum line from another. 

Furthermore each kit contains a bass line, different guitar licks and some even come with synths licks. All instruments were professionally recorded and are not over-compressed to keep the sound natural and authentic. In this way you can process all samples the way you like and integrate them perfectly into your project.

Structure

Each Indie Rock construction kit contains up to 4 parts:

• A-Part - Includes the main theme, with its sounds and phrases.
• B-Part - Provides an alternative track and phrases which gives you more flexibility for your entire track.
• Intro/Outro Kit - Here you can find the matching intro/outro track for the overall kit, along with its individual parts.
• Break - The perfect break for your track.
  
  

The given structure and features like labeled key signature and tempo information provide a very easy way of arranging a whole song. Additionally the Elastik Player offers you a lot of DSP functions to adjust the phrases to further fit your productions / creations. Thanks to Elastik you can mix this library with all other libraries and genres available.

Wild Chases Revisited

Wild Chases Revisited takes the dramatic electronica-based construction kits found in the original Wild Chases release and reimagines them as powerful, hard hitting, guitar-based rock. With overdriven electric guitars, driving electric bass, and powerful acoustic drum performances, Wild Chases Revisited can deliver the perfect combination of dark moods, tension and a sinister edge for your next music cue or song project.

Hard-Hitting Overdriven Guitars

Containing over 4GB of data featuring nearly 1200 loops, Wild Chases Revisited is organized into 10 massive construction kits matching the 10 kits found in the original Wild Chases release. Each kit features between two and four distinct musical sections as well as dedicated intro and outro parts. This format makes it easy to build a full musical arrangement with plenty of variation. Original tempos range from 130 to 150 BPM to maintain the sense of fast-paced motion. And, with Elastik’s high-quality tempo manipulation tools, you can easily match the tempo of the kits to your project’s exact needs.

Powerful Drum Rhythms

Within each construction kit, each section contains multiple guitar parts and a bass line. Recordings from the live amp and a DI (line) signal are available for both guitar and bass meaning you have a great studio recording for instant results or the option to apply your own distortion and effects. Additional guitar and sound effects loops are included in many of the kit sections for additional variety. The acoustic drum parts are provided as both a pre-mixed loop (for ease of use) and as full multitrack loop sets. The latter include kick drum with three different microphone positions, snare drum with top and bottom mics, hihat, tom, overheads and three different room microphones. You therefore have complete control over your drum mix. It also offers creative options such as using the alternative kick drum mics with Elastik’s pitch, formant and speed tools if you want a more experimental drum sound.

The two Wild Chases titles make the perfect combination. Owners of both libraries can easily blend between the electronica of the original release and the rock of the Revisted title.  As with the original release, Wild Chases Revisited is a great choice for film or TV composers looking to create a sense of drama, tension, intensity and suspense. The ReTune Tab

You have complete control over the scale and key of any tonal loop, even with polyphonic material, with the ReTune tab in the Loopeye editor. The algorithm, developed by zplane.development, analyses polyphonic and monophonic material in real time and transforms it into the desired key and scale while maintaining high audio quality. Enter custom scales via the matrix or choose from preset scales to customise any loop to your project. Use ReTune for creative sounddesign with controls for sensitivity, transients, smoothing, pitch correction and dry/wet.

Control Time

Choose from six different time-stretching algorithms on the Time tab: from the simple PitchSpeed to the high-quality ProV3, with maximum scope for tempo variation while minimising audio artifacts. Everything is very efficient and CPU-friendly. Also included are FX options for creative sound manipulation.

Get Inspired

Elastik includes a random sound replacement feature called INSPIRE: one click on the Inspire button and Elastik will select an alternative loop, providing just that extra bit of inspiration when you need it. All this can be done on the fly, without leaving the Elastik environment. The new Inspire Browser lets you choose which soundbanks to use in the Inspire pool.

Efficient Workflow

While Elastik is a hugely creative tool, it also maintains an extremely efficient workflow. The streamlined browser means that no matter how big your Elastik loop library gets, you can always find the right loop in an efficient way. Elastik also includes advanced tagging and filtering features, making it easy to narrow down any search. The browser allows you to easily prelisten loops in BPM, key and scale sync to your project.

Match And Play

Once you have identified the loops you want to use in your project, they can be mapped to Elastik's virtual keyboard or pads, ready to be triggered from within Elastik, from your MIDI keyboard or from your host sequencer. A range of triggering methods are available to ensure that your loops stay in sync with your project. Elastik's sophisticated time, pitch, key and scale shifting algorithms - powered by zplane's cutting-edge audio processing technology - maximise audio quality, giving you independent control over all parameters and maximum flexibility to match loops to the tempo and key of any project.
